2 Fabric postcards i have made for swaps

4 x4 Friday

This weeks theme is open so i thought i would enter this piece. I made it for a challenge on zuzus forum.

Lotties Challenge was a textured 4x4 with no stamping or images.

I stuck a piece of canvas onto card and coloured it with acrylic paint. The squares are stampboard painted with acrylic the patterns were scratched out using a sharpe embossing too. On was covered in screwed up foil that i had coloured with alcohol inks then wound some embroidery cotton round. Also some embroidery cotton in the top corner.

New Year Promise to myself

Decided to make more things to keep for myself this year. Make things I want to do instead of thigs that i've got to do for swaps. I saw a book made out of slide mounts and thought i'd make one for myself. I havn't got any slide mounts and couldn't wait to get any so I've made these myself. They are bigger than a slide mount. They measure 2.5 inches square.

So here is my first page.
